About Melodious
Who runs Melodious?
Melodious LLC was founded in May 2026 by AkiraMelodie and is managed by Roman. We're a small, talent-first VTuber agency based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
How big is the agency?
Small, intentionally. We'd rather have one talent who's a great fit than five who aren't. We're early-stage and being upfront about it; if you join now, you'd be joining a growing roster with direct access to leadership.
What makes Melodious different?
We're a management agency, not a content factory. Talents keep 100% of their platform earnings (Twitch subs, YouTube revenue, donations). We only earn when we earn alongside you: on sponsorships, brand deals, merch, and other commercial work we help bring in or process.
Money
What's the revenue split?
- Brand deals we bring you: you keep 70%, we keep 30%
- Brand deals you bring us (with our approval): you keep 85%, we keep 15%
- Merch through our channels (after production cost): you keep 70%, we keep 30%
- Voice acting, cons, guest appearances booked through us: you keep 70%, we keep 30%
These are defaults. Talents with established audiences can negotiate different splits in writing before signing.
What does Melodious NOT take a cut of?
- All your platform earnings: subs, bits, channel memberships, gift subs, ad revenue, Super Chats
- Viewer donations and tips
- Anything you do under a different name unrelated to your VTuber persona
- Anything that doesn't use your persona's name or likeness
- Fan art you commission for yourself
- Gifts from fans
- Freelance work you secure on your own
If a brand approaches you directly, you have to let us know in writing (so we can confirm whether revenue share applies), but you're not obligated to involve us in the deal.
When does revenue get paid out?
For revenue we receive directly, we pay you on the 1st of every month, covering the prior month's earnings. Each payment comes with a detailed statement.
For revenue that comes to your accounts (talent-sourced sponsorships paid to you), you remit our share by the 15th of the following month.
What does "net revenue" mean?
Net revenue is what's left after platform fees and payment processor fees (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) come off the top. For merch, production and fulfillment costs come off first too. We split what's left.
Are there any upfront costs to join?
No. There's no fee to apply, no fee to sign, and no minimum spend required.
The Contract
How long is the contract?
The default initial term is six months, then it renews month-to-month. We can negotiate a different starting length in writing before signing.
How do I leave?
Two weeks' written notice, any reason or no reason, no penalty.
Can the agency terminate me?
Either side can terminate without notice if the other side materially breaches the contract and doesn't fix it within 7 days, engages in illegal activity, harasses or doxxes someone, or shuts down operations. Otherwise it's the standard 14-day notice for both of us.
What happens to my character/IP if I leave?
You keep everything you own. Your persona name, design, lore, channels, content, community: all yours. The only exception is specific production files we paid for (model files, rigging, alt outfits, etc.), which we own until you reimburse us at original cost. You can buy any of them out anytime, in a lump sum or a payment plan.
What's "tail revenue"?
For six months after you leave, we still collect our share on revenue from specific pieces of content we materially helped produce (editing, thumbnail design, SEO, documented creative direction). This only applies to commercial revenue from that content (sponsorships baked into it, merch tied to it). Your platform revenue from those same videos stays 100% yours during the tail period. After six months, everything reverts fully to you.
Are there exclusivity rules?
You can't have another VTuber agency while you're with us. You can still:
- Join informal friend groups and creator collectives
- Collab with other VTubers (in or out of agencies)
- Stream under a separate pseudonym that's not tied to your persona
Joining
What's the application process?
- Apply through our application form
- Review by Roman and AkiraMelodie (typically 2-4 weeks)
- Interview with both of us
- Contract discussion if both sides want to move forward
- Onboarding once signed
You'll hear back either way; we don't ghost applicants.
Who can apply?
- 18 or older
- Located anywhere in the world (timezone flexibility is on us)
- Any language; our team speaks English, some Japanese, and some Bulgarian
- Pre-debut, debuted, or established talents all welcome
- Streamers, VTubers, content creators using a virtual persona
Do I need an existing audience?
No. We accept pre-debut and small creators. Pre-debut applicants are responsible for their own models unless we negotiate something different during contract talks.
What equipment do I need?
A PC capable of streaming or recording reliably. We help with the rest of the stream setup once you join.
Can I apply if I'm already a VTuber under another name?
Yes. You can keep your existing brand, model, channel, and community. We rebrand only if you want to be rebranded.
Why do applications get rejected?
The most common reasons:
- Pattern of internet drama or public callouts
- Oversharing personal information publicly in a way that creates legal risk for the agency
- The fit isn't right for our current roster size or focus
Can I reapply if rejected?
Yes, after one month.
Content and Creative
What content is allowed?
Almost anything. You have full creative discretion over your content. The only limits in the contract are:
- No illegal activity
- No harassment, doxxing, or threats
- No knowingly violating platform Terms of Service
- No disclosing other Melodious talents' real identities without consent
Is NSFW content allowed?
Yes.
Does Melodious tell me what to stream?
No. You pick the games, topics, schedule, and platforms. We don't pre-approve or censor your content.
What about sponsorships? Can I be forced into a deal?
No. Either side can propose a sponsorship, and either side can veto one. You're never required to take a deal you don't want.
Are there streaming minimums?
No. We don't impose a minimum schedule. We'll be honest with you though: consistency drives growth, so we'll encourage it during quarterly check-ins.
Privacy and Identity
How is my real identity protected?
The manager is the only public-facing person at the agency. Talents' legal names never appear on publicly facing documents. Our identity protection obligation continues indefinitely, even after you leave the agency.
What happens if I get doxxed?
We have a documented response plan. We'll work with you to file police reports where appropriate, engage cybersecurity professionals, tighten your accounts and network, and escalate to legal counsel if needed. The plan is part of the "Bad Day Protocol" we provide as a standard service.
Does Melodious have access to my accounts?
Only read-only analytics access on platforms where we share revenue. We don't have your passwords, we can't post on your behalf, and we don't control your channels.

Leaving
What's the offboarding process?
Two weeks' written notice triggers structured offboarding. We hand off any agency-managed accounts, transfer in-flight sponsorships back to you, and provide a list of any tail-revenue content. Your final revenue share gets paid on the next regular payment date.
What if I want to come back later?
Talk to us. We're a small agency and our door tends to stay open for former talents, depending on circumstances.
Can I take my Discord, website, and other agency-built assets with me?
Your community, content, and accounts are yours. Agency-built infrastructure (the website we host, the custom Discord bot) is something we'd discuss case-by-case at offboarding. In most cases, we'll work with you to transition you to a setup you can maintain yourself.
